College Jazz Audition Crash Course - Get Your Prescreen Video Ready Before Thanksgiving
A focused, 6-week program for high school jazz musicians preparing for college prescreen recordings.
Twice-a-week classes, mock auditions, 1-on-1 feedback, and complete professional quality video and audio - everything you need to submit with confidence.
Dates: October 14–November 20, 2025
Time: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM Tuesdays and Thursdays
Who: High school seniors preparing for college prescreen auditions
Tuition: $700-1200 for Basic/Premium option
Discounts available with phone consultation required before enrollment.
Course Schedule
Week 1 – Baseline & Repertoire
Students choose audition tunes and assess strengths.
Week 2 – Blues & Standards
Core repertoire (e.g. Billie’s Bounce, Body & Soul, etc.).
Week 3 – Rhythm Changes & Time Feels
Two-feel, walking, bossa, samba, funk, and pop-rock styles.
Week 4 – Improvisation & Expression
Develop solo ideas and refine tone, phrasing, and feel.
Week 5 – Mock Auditions
Live performance simulations with constructive feedback.
Week 6 – Recording Week
Film and record final prescreen videos with professional audio.
